AP Invoice AutoPost
AP Invoice AutoPost is an internal accounting tool used by Smart-Cell Communications Inc.
What it does
Suppliers send Smart-Cell invoices for goods and services. The application reads those invoices, extracts the billing details printed on them — supplier, invoice number, date, amounts and tax — and records each one as an accounts payable bill in Smart-Cell’s own QuickBooks Online company, attaching the original invoice to the record it creates.
Its purpose is to remove the manual re-typing of supplier invoices into the accounting system, and to make each entry traceable back to the document it came from.
Who can use it
The application is used only by authorised Smart-Cell personnel, on Smart-Cell’s own accounting records. It is not offered for sale, not distributed, and not available to the public. It connects to no QuickBooks Online company other than Smart-Cell’s own.
