Disconnecting the QuickBooks integration

AP Invoice AutoPost connects only to Smart-Cell Communications Inc.’s own QuickBooks Online company, so the connection is managed from inside that company file by an administrator.

How to disconnect

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an administrator.
  2. Open the list of connected applications — under Apps, then My Apps. Depending on your version this may appear under Settings as Manage Apps.
  3. Find AP Invoice AutoPost and select Disconnect.

What happens when you disconnect

The application immediately loses its access to QuickBooks Online and can no longer read from or write to the company file. The access credentials it held stop working and are removed from the computer it runs on.

Bills the application has already recorded remain in QuickBooks. They are ordinary accounting records, identical to entries made by hand, and disconnecting does not alter or remove them. Invoice documents already attached to those records also remain.

Reconnecting later requires an administrator to authorise the application again.
