Retail Store Manager

Location: Smartcell Communications – TELUS Koodo Authorized Dealer / Windsor

We have an exciting opportunity to hire a Store Manager for our SWO Retail locations reporting directly to the Regional Manager Retail – SW Ontario.

Our ideal candidate is one that can inspire, coach, and develop team members, drive sales and ensure our customers always have an exceptional experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the Store Manager, it is your responsibility to make sure your location is delivering excellence in customer experience by following all operational policies and procedures and meeting sales goals and objectives. You will lead by example and create an environment where team members receive regular coaching and development. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Motivating your sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales goals and quotas
  • Developing and Coaching your team in delivering an incredible customer experience
  • Effectively communicating and participating in the achievement of all sales targets including activations, accessory and warranty attach and other identified KPI’s
  • Being knowledgeable of all products and services
  • Managing Inventory, weekly and monthly inventory of all products
  • Ensuring an amazing appearance of the store and merchandising accordingly
  • Being a team player and leading by example
  • Effective organization and planning skills with the ability to schedule people and tasks
  • Participate in and deliver coaching and training to your Team
  • Sales performance reporting and analysis daily
  • Ensuring project deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Managing team headcount by driving recruitment and retention initiatives
  • Various other duties as required

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Strong management, coaching, and leadership skills, developed in a retail organization, preferably within the wireless or electronics sector
  • Detail oriented and results focused individual with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a demonstrated sense of urgency
  • Inspirational and creative sales leader that possesses demonstrated experience driving aggressive results
  • Customer service-oriented teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, and initiative
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, and analytical skills
  • Proven time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Management or related fields is an asset
  • 3-5 years store supervision and management experience is an asset
  • Computer aptitude with strong skills in Microsoft office and other software
  • Comfortable with new technology
  • Flexibility to work various schedules including days, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
