SmartCell Communications, TELUS Business Centre, is looking for a Service Manager to take over our daily operations behind the service counter Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM. No evenings or weekends required.

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing professional who knows about smartphones and is focused on quick turn around times, following procedures, troubleshooting device issues and customer service. Maintaining a high level of customer engagement, satisfaction and organization is critical to your success in this role. If you love working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we’re excited to discuss this position with you.

Bonuses

· $1,000 signing bonus paid out on first pay (6 month employment required)

Service Manager Responsibilities and Duties

· Front-line tech support for device issues and breaks

· Troubleshooting and problem-solving device/user issues including offering solutions and workarounds

· Taking ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolution

· Follow proper service procedures, policies and standards

· Displays extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered

· Multitasking across systems and applications

· Analyze and resolve a variety of technical issues and supporting users of smartphones and tablets

· Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions

· Monitors department issues and client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen those recurring issues

· Manage our work order system, including invoice logging, and generate service invoices

Service Manager Requirements

· Proven working experience as a service manager, retail manager or assistant manager

· Experience in providing customer service support

· Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications

· Ability to think strategically and to lead

· Strong client-facing and communication skills

· Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

· Technical experience, passion and creativity

· Have excellent verbal, written, and communications skills

· Maintain the highest standards of quality, guarantee customer satisfaction and provide solutions

· Understand the concepts of navigation, search engines, email, and other web based applications

· Smartphone, tablet, operating systems, PC or Mac experience

For this position, you will be required to:

Process client wireless orders (activations, renewals and accessory sales)
Interact with our clients by phone and in person with order inquiries while working alongside our experienced staff
Assist with sales administration duties within the office
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Handle customer inquiries, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution, keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Requirements:

Must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and history
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Customer orientation and ability to interact with different character types
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and manage time effectively
Be computer-savvy with knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs
Customer service and/or sales experience is preferred

Store Manager – Sudbury

We have an exciting opportunity to hire a Store Manager for our Sudbury Retail location reporting directly to the Regional Manager Retail.

Our ideal candidate is one that can inspire, coach, and develop team members, drive sales and ensure our customers always have an exceptional experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the Store Manager, it is your responsibility to make sure your location is delivering excellence in customer experience by following all operational policies and procedures and meeting sales goals and objectives. You will lead by example and create an environment where team members receive regular coaching and development. Specific responsibilities include:

Motivating your sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales goals and quotas
Developing and Coaching your team in delivering an incredible customer experience
Effectively communicating and participating in the achievement of all sales targets including activations, accessory and warranty attach and other identified KPI’s
Being knowledgeable of all products and services
Managing Inventory, weekly and monthly inventory of all products
Ensuring an amazing appearance of the store and merchandising accordingly
Being a team player and leading by example
Effective organization and planning skills with the ability to schedule people and tasks
Participate in and deliver coaching and training to your Team
Sales performance reporting and analysis daily
Ensuring project deadlines and deliverables are met
Managing team headcount by driving recruitment and retention initiatives
Various other duties as required
Education, Experience and Skills:

Strong management, coaching, and leadership skills, developed in a retail organization, preferably within the wireless or electronics sector
Detail oriented and results focused individual with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a demonstrated sense of urgency
Inspirational and creative sales leader that possesses demonstrated experience driving aggressive results
Customer service-oriented teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, and initiative
Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, and analytical skills
Proven time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Management or related fields is an asset
3-5 years store supervision and management experience is an asset
Computer aptitude with strong skills in Microsoft office and other software
Comfortable with new technology
Flexibility to work various schedules including days, evenings and weekends
Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
