Ottawa firm buys local TELUS dealership for undisclosed price
Ottawa-based SmartCell Communications has purchased Windsor’s Kelcom’s TELUS sales division for an undisclosed price.
SmartCell will be rebranding Kelcom’s five sales outlets in southwestern Ontario, although customers will see the familiar green and blue TELUS brand and colors.
The deal, SmartCell’s third acquisition, closed August 1st 2020.
The Kelcom dealership was the largest independent owned TELUS proprietorship in the region, with stores including in Leamington and Chatham.
The firm’s sales range from consumer products like Smartphones and high-speed internet to business products like voice data, and fleet trackers.
